Guidelines for Our Quoting process.

We are not ‘flick us your plan for a quick price’ builders. We take the process very seriously as we believe this part of our building process is critical. Our quoting process requires a lot of detail and input from you the client, so we will need to meet with you to discuss options. As part of our commitment to ensure your vision becomes reality we take the utmost care and attention to detail.

We will require a complete set of plans and geotechnical report (if applicable) and an example of what you will need to consider are:

  • Heating and hot water requirements
  • What style of bathroom you desire
  • What style of kitchen meets your needs
  • What type of flooring you envisage

We will listen to you and what you require and advise on the appropriate product to match your needs, or provide you with options to help you make informed decisions.

Once every detail has been covered a fixed price will be presented to you detailing everything that is included in the price. As with all large investments, legal documents protecting all parties will need to be signed off, including a building contract. Also a payment schedule of estimated accounts for each stage through to completion will be supplied.

Variations

Structural variations are expensive so hopefully you will not wish to change your mind once the plans have been consented by council. If you do, the variation will need to be added to the plans and re-consented by council. Once the plans have been modified we will be able to give you a fixed price for the variation.

Non-structural variations, such as hardware and soft furnishings, can be changed.
