This house, designed by Jane, was built several years ago but is still a favourite of ours as it was one of the first to be built with an enormous 5-pane bi-fold door taking up the whole side of the sunken living room. The huge window seat set in a bay window is big enough to sleep on and has matching fitted cupboards on either side.
Red brick, board and batten and colonial windows give it a timeless English appearance and the angled walls make the terracota tiled patio and pool area a sheltered sun trap. An old fashioned English kitchen with a bay window is a feature that allows the kitchen bench to expand out towards the herb garden.

Picture rails, dado rails, architraves and deep skirting boards continue the English style inside. The exposed trusses in a cathedral ceiling have since become a trademark of ours and the angles in this house make this one an exceptional example.
Also note the exquisite old fashioned tiles in the downstairs en-suite flowing into a modern custom glazed shower.
